| When supplying working application files, all elements such as fonts, logotypes, and linked images must be collected into the relevant folders with the application file. |
| ** Please Note we do not recommend Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher for high end print production. |

All final artwork must be provided at the same size as your required final trim size. When an image or a colour is printed to the edge of a page, the image or colour should extend at least 1/8" past the finished edge so that when it is trimmed small variations in the trimming will not result in a white line down the edge of the page. |
Please ensure all scanned (bitmap) images should be saved at 300 dpi at the final print size, and set to CMYK or greyscale mode. Anything less than this can cause a blurry look on your finished product. Vector images (EPS files) can also be supplied.
|
| Before you send us your files you must ensure the colours in your file are to specification. There are 2 main types of colour printing that we provide: |
Full colour printing, known as CMYK & four colour printing.
(Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). It is generally used in the circumstance where you would like to produce full colour images and photography. The colours (CMYK) ‘mix’ together to make the full gamut of the colour spectrum. |
Spot colour printing – usually from a specified colour swatch such as pantone. Spot colour printing can be more cost effective and can range from one colour to multiple colour printing! For example, if you would like your finished result to have black and red ink, you are using 2 spot colours. |
| If you are unsure about your colour management please Contact Us! |
We always prefer the client, wherever possible, to supply us with a colour or B&W sample/proof print so that we can check it against the file that we receive. This is particularly important for ‘colour critical’ outputs and items with complex design elements. |
You can submit your finished artwork to us in various ways. CDs, DVDs, Email, and USB memory sticks are all acceptable. You can also upload your files directly from our website. |
